More than 600,000 Africans have been left homeless by intense flooding in 17 nations from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea, and 270 have died, according to the Australian Broadcasting Company. Northern Uganda's crops have been wiped out, and 1.5 million are in danger of starvation.
