Mysterious Illness Follows Meteorite Strike in Peru

Noxious Odor Blamed on Stomach and Head Aches

A meteorite that struck Souther Peru is causing villagers to develop headaches and stomach aches, according to an AFP report.

The meteorite struck Saturday, convincing some that an airplane had crashed, and leaving a huge, steaming crater in the remote mountainous area near the Bolivian border.
