If you're planning a trip to Australia (and the stream of greenhouse gas emissions that will flow from the jet don't bother you) then plan your trip now. Some of the best beaches may be swamped by rising sea levels later this century.
Ok, so you have a little time. But a report by the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization warns that three popular beaches -- Bondi, Bronte and Tamarama -- will be swamped as global warming causes sea levels to rise, according to The Daily Telegraph. The report is one more sign that the consequences of global warming will have far reaching effects -- not just on wildlife or third-world nations, but on everything from food supplies to -- yes -- vacation plans.
