Tropical Depression Ingrid Isn't Alone

Experts Track New Tropical Wave in the Atlantic

Tropical Storm Ingrid was downgraded to a tropical depression, as predicted, overnight, as high altitude wind sheer stripped its potential, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Ingrid continues to weaken as it moves west-northwest at about 10 mph. But even as Ingrid is diminishing in strength, the center is beginning to track another potential storm hundreds of miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands.
