Leonardo DiCaprio normally guards his privacy, but when it comes to the environment, he's holding nothing back. His new film, 11th Hour, opens nationwide today, following a successful debut in New York and Los Angeles last weekend.
Copley News Service interviewed the star for a feature today, reprinted below. The film features some of the biggest names in science, religion and politics -- and the film mixes real-world information about the state of the world's environment with hopeful messages about new technology and grass-roots initiatives that could counteract the serious problems facing the world.
In that respect, it's very green -- that is, forward-looking and optimistic. It's a must see.
