Erin Brockovich, whose fight against PG&E over toxic groundwater pollution became known the world over when Julia Roberts portrayed her in the movie that bears her name, is taking on a new fight in Australia.

There, Alcoa Australia is facing a class action lawsuit over pollution, and Brockovich is taking her celebrity activist and her environmental law firm down under to help with the fight. Hundreds of homes may be affected by pollution that allegedly originates at an Alcoa refinery. Alcoa denies that there is a problem.
