Projekt Revolution Tour, A Rock-Rap Fusion, Runs On Biofuel

Linkin Park, the widely popular, genre-bending rock-rap sextet, is leading a new charge on its annual Projekt Revolution tour -- a green revolution. The buses for the tour, which features a mix of rock and rap acts like My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo and Julien-K, will run on biofuel.

California-based Linkin Park has sold more than fifty million albums and won two Grammies. They are known for their artistic videos and, increasingly, social conscience. Musicians are among the leaders in the climate change fight, as Live Earth's seven continent extravaganza, the Willy Nelson "bioWilly" initiative and Sheryl Crow's college tour with activist Laurie David attest. Melding music with a message sends fans home with more than ringing ears.
