GreenJobs.Com Caters To Green Job Seekers And Employers Environmental and sustainability officers. Builders with green building know-how. Ecologists who can advise corporations. The green job sector is booming, according to many analysts. It's grown fast enough to reach one benchmark -- it's own Web site, GreenJobs.Com, that aims to connect employers and job-seekers in the green business sphere. And that sphere is only growing. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-California) is among the loudest voices calling for a revolution in the American economy. Investments now in alternative, renewable energy and in pollution capture technologies -- through an over hall in tax subsidies now aimed at oil and gas companies -- would yield a new generation of American jobs befitting the new century. Giving carbon a dollar value might be an essential part of that equation. Clean. Green. Profitable. Sounds pretty good.
