52 Wildfires Burning In 13 States See an updated list for Wednesday, which includes information about which fires are growing and the degree to which each fire is contained, by clicking here. As of Tuesday, at least 52 wildfires were burning in 13 Western states and Alaska, according to the federal government's
latest tally. Here's a list of the 10 biggest, all having burned 20,000 acres or more:
