Oklahoma Flood Could Resume

Texas, Kansas, Missouri And Arkansas Also Threatened, As More Rain Visits Havoc On Region As much as five more inches of rain could fall as a fast-moving deluge crosses central Oklahoma today -- adding enough water to the already saturated ground that more flooding is inevitable. A flash flood warning there is rimmed by a wide swath of flooding in surrounding states: Texas, Kansas, Missouri And Arkansas among them. Residents in some parts of Kansas only just returned to their damaged neighborhoods this week, after torrential rains caused death, the destruction of homes and the evacuations of thousands of people in the region.
