Move By Judge, Over Security Concerns, Would Leave Just 6 Continents Covered Just a couple weeks after the Live Earth performance in Turkey was canceled, in part due to security concerns, the performance in Rio is also reportedly in jeopardy. A judge has blocked the performance out of concern that there are not enough police to keep the crowds safe, according to published reports. The decision could be overruled, but that must happen before Saturday, when the event will to raise consciousness about global warming takes place on what was intended to be seven continents. It will be a shock if the organizers manage to stage a show on Antarctica, but not South America. For more on this story, see this
