Chinese Report Finds One In Five Food Products Fails To Meet Standards One fifth of the foods Chinese companies sell in China fails to meet government standards, a government agency reported. And while it stated that 99% of Chinese exports to the United States met standards, the report will do little to tamp down growing concern over the safety of foods, drugs and other products coming from China.
