On a day of "cosmic convergence," Live Earth concert aims to inspire climate crusade July 7, 2007 is a bit mundane. But written out numerically -- 07-07-07 -- and it's anything but. Whatever "cosmic convergence" astrologers and their ilk see in the date's parallelism, it is being asked to shoulder a great effort. Al Gore's "Live Earth" concert -- a seven-continent extravaganza meant to raise the world's consciousness about global warming and inspire them to call on their leaders for action -- takes place on the fateful day. As Gore said during a stop in Manhattan last week, the time has come for action on the "climate crisis" -- and no time is better, apparently, than 07-07-07. Good luck, Al.
