California firefighters stretched thin, while Utah blaze kills three A wildfire that killed three people and closed a national forest has spread across 46 square miles in northeastern Utah. Meanwhile, California firefighters struggled to fight several destructive and stubborn blazes around the state, including the remaining hot spots of the Angora fire near Lake Tahoe. The Neola fire in Utah remains almost entirely uncontained, and its spread into the Ashley National Forest prompted officials to close the park. About 300 people from several communities in the fire's path have been evacuated.
