Leonardo DiCaprio envisions urban concerts to raise eco-awareness He's taken his environmental ethic to Hollywood, to the Internet, and now Leonardo DiCaprio is taking it to the streets, if reported rumors are true. The actor, whose "11th Hour" movie about the last-minute chance to save the environment debuted at Cannes in May, is reportedly discussing a series of music concerts, ala Live Earth -- only instead of beaming the music live via all manner of media, these concerts would focus on hip hop and urban youth. The idea is to bring a global environmental awareness to everyone, even those without access to live streaming Internet video. With the world's population having tipped this year -- more now live in cities than in the rural countryside -- and American hip hop culture the greatest common denominator, DiCaprio may have discovered a potent pill for his ailing Earth, according to a story in the June 29 Chicago Sun Times.
