Agency will take public comments for 60 days The Department of Agriculture will take comments from the public for another 60 days about its proposed rule to allow dozens of non-organic ingredients in foods labeled "USDA Organic." For more information on this story,

Be sure to identify your comment with this code: AMS-TM-07-0062. That code corresponds to the USDA organic ingredient proposed rule. The USDA also said that the public should soon be able to comment electronically, by visiting
www.regulations.gov. Look for the code AMS-TM-07-0062 to comment on the correct proposal.
