Tying The Knot, With Green String

Couples are increasingly thinking less about the wow factor of over-extravagant weddings that marked past decades, and more about tying the knot in ceremonies that are simple, elegant and green. The ceremonies don't necessarily emphasize old and borrowed somethings as they go green, but more and more planners, services and products are available for couples that join the wedding planning frenzy with an eye toward creating an environmentally conscious ceremony. Does this mean we can expect wedding invitations in a single envelope? Only time will tell, according to a story in the June 10 Newsday.
