Fuel economy: 33 mpg (5-10 more than the gas engine)
Annual fuel cost: $1,345
Annual CO2 emissions: 5.7 tons
Nissan's answer to the Prius is the Altima Hybrid, a midsize family sedan that gets good reviews from critics, but less-impressive fuel economy on the road.
