Tainted Toothpaste Scrutinized

According to a story in the May 22 Chicago Tribune, Federal investigators are taking a "hard look" at toothpaste in Latin American markets that has turned up with contaminated ingredients from China. To the best of everyone's knowledge, none of the toothpaste has reached the United States. Then again, there was no contamination in pet food until we learned that there was contamination in pet food. And none of that tainted pet food got into the human food supply... until it did. So it's worth watching this story as it develops.
