Stars have led the world's peace and civil rights movements, and they'll help the fight to protect the environment, Leonardo DiCaprio told reporters as he debuted his "11th Hour" film at Cannes Film Festival Saturday. The film mirrors DiCaprio's own concerns about the state of the world -- which the actor says we have time to save only if we act now. He's one of a growing contingent of the Hollywood elite who have emerged as leaders in the new environmental movement. If Al Gore could be transformed from has-been politician to international hot act, by starring in "An Inconvenient Truth," one can only imagine what "11th Hour" will do for the bona fide star, according to a story May 18 in the Press Association News.
