Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson today proposed an Apollo-sized renewable energy push, and concurrent reduction of 80 percent of the nation's greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. In a policy speech in Washington, D.C., he invoked President Kennedy's Apollo moon mission, according to the Associated Press.
