Expect the red carpet valet to hold a new set of keys. The high-performance luxury hybrid market was born when Lexus introduced its LS 600h L. As the first reviews come in, critics say it delivers all the luxury and performance one would expect, but fails to deliver on fuel conservation. Its emissions are significantly lower than competitors, however, so it offers a green benefit despite the small gains on fuel efficiency, according to a story May 28 in Fortune.
