Brad Pitt's
green building project in New Orleans - an affordable housing complex that could generate all of its own energy - will get a boost today from Home Depot Foundation, which will contribute between $7-9 million to the project, according to a story in today's USA Today. Pitt is also building an off-the-grid home in California, and contributed $100,000 to the contest that invited green architectural designs for the New Orleans project. Home Depot recently got in on the green game by labeling all environmentally-friendly choices on its shelves.
