Who Killed The CNG Car?

It costs about $1 to $2 less per gallon, spews a fraction of the pollutants spewed by gasoline and has been used to fuel cars for more than a decade. But when it comes to car makers, the car-buying public and government lawmakers, compressed natural gas isn't even an also-ran in the race to repower the American car.
