World Scientists Meet Today

They've determined that humans are most likely causing global warming, and that there's good evidence we're already seeing the effects of climate change. Today, top scientists from around the world meet to determine what can be done, and to determine the costs of action, or inaction. Some members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have indicated the report will detail the need for massive investments in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency to replace oil and coal, the burning of which fills the atmosphere with carbon dioxide.
