Sheryl Crow laughed off her statement about using just one square of toilet paper to conserve resources yesterday. The statement spawned a joke tsunami on the Internet and late night TV, but Crow - who just wrapped up a tour to raise awareness about global warming and made news for a heated discussion about climate change policy with Karl Rove - said she was ok with being the brunt of a national joke. For her, it was worth generating some discussion about how individuals can act to stop global warming.
