Announcing the Heart of Green Awards

The Daily Green's first annual Heart of Green Awards will celebrate individuals and organizations that embody the exciting state of the "green revolution," as the ethic of environmental conservation pervades the mainstream.

The Heart of Green Awards will recognize those who help to make a real difference by inspiring everyday Americans by creating practical ways to better people's lives, their health, their wallet – and, of course, the environment.

Deborah Barrow, founder of TheDailyGreen.com, is appearing at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla., to discuss the awards and green building trends that are affecting the industry.

Award winners will be announced before Earth Day, and The Daily Green audience will be encouraged to recognize those people in their communities who have a Heart of Green.
