Dutch's Meat, Inc. in Trenton, NJ, is recalling approximately 13,275 pounds of ground beef products because they may be contaminated with E. coli, according to a USDA press release.
The following products were recalled:
10-pound bags of "DUTCH'S MEATS, INC. GROUND BEEF."
10-pound vacuum-packed plastic bags of "DUTCH'S MEATS, INC. GROUND BEEF."
10-pound boxes of "DUTCH'S MEATS, INC. HAMBURGER PATTIES."
The products bear the establishment number "EST. 5424" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were packaged from May 27, 2008, through June 6, 2008, and this date is stamped on the bags and boxes.
The products were distributed to restaurants and food service institutions in the Trenton, NJ, area and were not available to consumers for direct purchase at retail locations.
