COMMUNITY NEWS
I recently read your post 5 Easy First Steps You Can Do Today. As part of a woman-owned, environmentally conscious company, I can completely relate to the attempt to find ways to live greener and I was glad I was able to read that post. The company Im a part of feels that living a green life is something everyone should focus on and we strongly feel that our pets and their lifestyles are being left out of those changes. That company is The Leash We Can Do and it was founded out of the belief that natural products are the healthiest as well as the most environmentally friendly. Our entire family, the furriest family members included, need to be part of this lifestyle change.
The Leash We Can Do is a company committed to the health of both pets and the environment. Our mission is to offer pet products that are natural, organic and made with recycled products. In addition to our environmental focus, we also believe in supporting small businesses that keep production in the USA. This provides healthier and safer products (melamine, anyone!?) and also lowers the carbon footprint of our catalog. This has been part of our mission from the companys inception, but has become increasingly important in this economic climate. Keeping jobs in the US and keeping tabs on where ingredients are sourced benefits our overall economy as well as the safety of our pets.
We believe that your mission and our mission share many things in common, which is why we'd like to offer a special deal to your readers this holiday season. We are very excited to offer a variety of Holiday Gift Sets this year. The gift sets come in a reusable tote that contains some of our favorite green products and we thought your readers might be interested in them! You can read more about them at http://www.leashwecando.com/Gifts. Wed also like to offer your readers a 10% discount on our gift sets. They can enter the code Daily10 at checkout to receive the discount.
In addition to the ability to give a green gift, givers of our sets will also have an even larger effect on the earth, as a portion of the proceeds from the gift sets will go to Pets For The Environment. If you have any questions about our company, you can either check out the press release from our launch here or e-mail us at info@leashwecando.com.
Thanks!

The Daily Green's Community News section is a forum for our audience to get the word out about issues that matter to them, enlist support, get help and advice, celebrate successes or share humor. The best submissions are personal (why I started this venture) short and to the point (400 words or so) and written in a style that speaks directly to the audience as peers (not like an ad or press release). E-mail submissions to news@thedailygreen.com and include "community news" in the subject line. Photos are also welcome, provided the submitter has rights to publish the image. Be sure to include credit and caption information.
Submissions to The Daily Green are subject to our Privacy and Terms of Use policies.
