We would like to introduce you to Goody Green Bag! Goody Green Bags are eco-trendy reusable bags for the style conscious & environmentally friendly shopper. With so many retailers banning paper & plastic bags (Bloomberg recently suggested that NY retailers charge $.06 per plastic bag!), Goody Green Bag are the perfect solution for a stylish, yet functional, reusable bag.
Our bags are perfect for browsing the farmers market, trips to the grocery store, mall shopping, picking up take out, running miscellaneous errands, and even baby needs! They easily fold up and can be stored in your glove compartment, purse or pocket for easy access.
Our mission is to make it simple for consumers to help preserve and sustain a healthy Earth. Replacing plastic or paper bags with reusable bags is an easy way to reduce your individual carbon footprint on the planet. We make it a priority to continually use the most environmentally positive products to raise awareness of this issue; and we think you'll agree that our product is a great way for the fashion-forward consumer to make a simple commitment to a greener Earth!
Goody Green Bag comes in 6 different patterns and is sold online at UrbanOutfitters.com and www.goodygreenbag.com. They're a perfect gift to yourself (and the environment) and make a great gift for the style conscious and eco-friendly shopper!
Goody Green Bag was founded by two Chicago moms who were seeking easy ways to help save our Planet Earth. Both founders bring a different talent and unique passion:
Our Eco Mama has been dedicated to preserving our environment for the last several decades. An obsessive recycler, she started reusing her grocery bags years before the trend caught on. She is constantly seeking out eco-friendly approaches to everyday living and hopes to make our world a better place for her children.
Our Style Mama is always cued in to the latest trends and seasonal fashions. She wants to do her part to save the environment, but looks for eco-trendy ways to be friendly to Planet Earth. She started carrying reusable bags but struggled with the boring patterns and un-functional bag design. The idea for Goody Green Bag came to her as a craving for a fashionable & functional tote that she could reuse for shopping trips, baby supplies or just carrying her lunch to work.
The Daily Green's Community News section is a forum for our audience to get the word out about issues that matter to them, enlist support, get help and advice, celebrate successes or share humor. The best submissions are personal (why I started this venture) short and to the point (400 words or so) and written in a style that speaks directly to the audience as peers (not like an ad or press release). E-mail submissions to email@example.com and include "community news" in the subject line. Photos are also welcome, provided the submitter has rights to publish the image. Be sure to include credit and caption information.
