Gift Cards Are A Big Waste

I went to lunch today. my friend paid with one of those "Visa gift cards". I was looking at it and read the back. It shocked me when I read, "This is a NON-RELOADABLE Gift Card."

So that means you just throw it away when your done with it.

Further more, it said NOTHING about recycling. No place to send it, no direction at all as to suggest recycling this card.

How many of these cards are out there?

How many DO NOT get recycled?

How much plastic are these credit card companies dumping?
