United Kingdom's Fuel Economy Label Much More Detailed Than U.S. Versions

Europe has earned a reputation as generally being darker green than the wayward United States, or even Canada. This trend is once again reinforced by the differences in how new cars are labeled on the lot in the two regions.

Great Britain's current window stickers, are chock full of environmental data, including fuel costs, tax rates and details on carbon emissions. In the U.S., the EPA is looking at requiring more data on car stickers, but it is unlikely to be as comprehensive.

In the absence of federal leadership, California and New York are pushing ahead with state laws to better help consumers make informed choices. Read more here.
