Autumn Leaves Beginning to Show Color

Fall Foliage in Minnesota at Peak, and Northern Maine Showing Signs Change

The leaves are beginning to change color throughout the Northeast, and in northern Maine, the color is slowly approaching its peak. In Minnesota, the peak is here, and neighboring states are showing color.

Also, the peaks of the Rocky Mountain states are displaying the early hints of color. In this first official week of autumn, the signs of the season are growing more evident -- even as abnormal heat blankets much of the Northeast and New England. Here are some good sources of information to help plan leaf-peeping excursions:
